The Paris Motor Show took place recently and we saw some amazing cars that were offered at this show to give us a look at what European names are planning for the future. Elegance was certainly on display, and the names you know and admire made their way across the stage. This is also the place where there were a few impressive and fun to admire concept cars showed up to give us a look at what we could have. The future is certainly bright and these concept models give us an idea of what that might be.
Peugeot e-Legend Concept at the Paris Motor Show
This new concept from Peugeot shows us what an electric car could look like and the beauty that might be included. Thus far, we’ve seen electrics that were a bit too functional; this one brings the sophistication and elegance you want. In addition to being an electric model, this car is expected to be autonomous, making it easy for you to sit back and enjoy the drive. You can see some of the style inspiration that comes from the retro 504 model that makes this car look like one of the coolest models that crossed the stage in Paris.
Infiniti Project Black S Concept
Here’s a concept car that’s made the rounds and is going for a second lap at the auto shows. This car is attractive, based on the Q60, and brings us some of the improvements we hope will make it to production. This coupe uses a hybrid powertrain to give you up to 563 horsepower if you wanted to make this the car that you choose to drive. That’s an improvement over the first go-round when this car had 500 ponies coming from under the hood.
Smart ForEase Concept
While we don’t often think of the Smart brand as one that offers us attractive and showy models, the ForEase Concept captured the attention of many in attendance at the Paris show. This concept combines two concepts from the past of this brand to give us an electric roadster that has a rear-drive rear-engine layout to offer a small car that can be enjoyable on the road. If you admire the Smart brand and love what they have brought to the market, this could be the perfect car for you. Now, we just have to wait and see if this car will make it to production.
Skoda Vision RS Concept
Unfortunately, we don’t have Skoda models in the North American market, and when you see the Vision RS Concept, you’ll be a bit disappointed in this fact. This is a car that looks great, has smooth lines, and it brings the power needed with an efficient hybrid powertrain that can give you the qualities you’re looking for. The plug-in hybrid system combines with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine to offer you 241 horsepower and an EV range of 43 miles to make this a great drive that you’ll never get to enjoy in the US.
Porsche 911 Speedster
This is a car that showed up at the Paris Motor Show as a concept but left as the next production model from Porsche. This amazing car is one that gives you the look of a Porsche, the style that you want, and an incredible feeling even when you look at it. This will be a limited run car with only 1,948 models available because of the year that Porsche first got its operating license to begin to offer us cars. On June 8, 1948, the Porsche 356 “Number 1” began to be built and the name has made history since that time.
